Studying violin with Lea is really enjoyable—she is a wonderful teacher. As someone over 40 who is studying music of any kind for the very first time in my life, I was nervous about starting lessons and not sure I would be able to learn how to read music, much less play the violin. Lea is always encouraging and endlessly patient and has helped me make successful progress. She is teaching me the foundations of music along with my violin studies and she’s helped build my confidence along with my technical ability. I am thoroughly enjoying my lessons.”

My 9 year old has been taking private violin lessons with Ms.Lea for about 5 months now, and he really enjoys it. He chose the violin also as his instrument of choice for 4th grade at school, and has been moved to the 5th grade group after just a few weeks. Ms.Lea is a wonderful teacher, knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. She provides positive feedback and encourages him to put in his best effort. It has been amazing to see how she is helping him develop new skills and confidence.
